Your Registration Appointment – what to expect

The aim of our 30 minute registration appointment is to introduce ourselves to you and your pet and to let you know what you can expect from us. We also want to learn about your pet so that we can understand their needs, allowing us to tailor their ongoing care plan specifically to them.

At your pets registration appointment, we will:

  • review their medical history with you, discuss any concerns or ongoing conditions, and to register any long term repeat medications that they require.
  • perform a full physical examination and take baseline measurements such as heart rate, blood pressure and weight
  • explain how we work with you to tailor your pets care, to ensure that the services we offer meet with what you are looking for in your veterinary provider.

The registration appointment is the final step in completing your registration with us. We cannot dispense any medications or treatments prior to this appointment. We also cannot provide out of hours care or treatment prior to your pets registration appointment.

You may book in specifically for the registration appointment, or you can wait until you need to come for another reason and roll it into one appointment (vaccination, medication review, illness), but it is important that you are aware that your pet is not fully registered, and so not able to access our services (including out of hours care), until they have attended their registration appointment.
